Special Support Policy: Waiver of Ocean Freight Charges

Against the backdrop of slowing global economic growth and ongoing volatility in the shipping market, we announced today a special support policy for customers who meet the cooperation criteria for the "Single Scoreboard" program: the waiver of ocean freight charges, effective immediately, to meaningfully ease procurement cost pressures during the current economic cycle.

Under this policy, we will bear all ocean freight costs from the domestic loading port to the destination seaport. This means that, based on standard purchase prices, customers will directly benefit from the removal of a substantial ocean freight expense, effectively lowering their financial burden before goods arrive at the destination port.

It is important to clarify that this waiver applies strictly to the sea transport segment only. Upon arrival at the destination port, all local port charges (such as terminal handling fees, deconsolidation fees, storage fees, and destination agent fees), as well as all customs duties, VAT, and other taxes required for import clearance, remain the responsibility of the customer and must be paid according to local regulations. We neither collect nor cover these destination-port and customs-clearance charges.

A company representative explained: "Destination port charges and customs duties vary significantly between different countries and ports, and they are subject to frequent change. As a supplier, we cannot know the exact amounts in advance at the quotation stage. To avoid any risk of miscalculation and ensure pricing transparency, this freight waiver is strictly limited to ocean freight charges. This is also a practical way of giving back to our customers for their long-term trust."

This policy takes effect immediately upon release. It applies to all active orders that meet the credit and procurement threshold requirements of the "Single Scoreboard" program. No separate application is needed – the ocean freight waiver will be automatically applied when new orders are generated.

We will continue to monitor global macroeconomic and logistics cost trends. Through targeted cost concessions and flexible pricing, we aim to navigate this cyclical downturn together with our partners and strengthen long-term supply chain resilience.
